Law Firm
Description
A life-long resident of Acworth, Dean graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Accounting from Kennesaw State University and received a master’s degree in accounting from Samford University. After a short stint with a Big Four accounting firm, Dean obtained his Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law. Cumberland is a top 10 ranked trial school in the country. While in law school, Dean was one of few students to obtain a third-year practice card allowing him to practice full-time for a national insurance company where he defended a wide array of clients in all stages of litigation.
Within merely seven months of practicing law, Dean made partner with a top-rated firm in Marietta. Such a short time is unprecedented. After practicing with that firm for several years, Dean founded The Phillips Law Firm.
Dean practices criminal defense, personal injury, divorce, and firearms law. The firm boasts a strong track record of success in DUI, misdemeanor, and felony cases. Dean does not simply negotiate plea deals like many attorneys. He fully develops a case, searching for every possible detail that may assist in the client’s defense. When advantageous to a case, Dean will even utilize private investigators and expert witnesses. Such strong case development frequently results in the forced dismissal of the case or significant reduction in charges.
Like the firm’s criminal practice, Dean regularly associates experts in personal injury cases. The firm always has a critical care medical doctor on call. This helps Dean direct clients to the proper healthcare providers. In turn, our clients get the best treatment available to them and recover the most from their cases.
The Phillips Law Firm also leads the firearms law industry nationwide. Dean represents some of the largest firearm and suppressor manufacturers, dealers, and even YouTube stars. Dean also drafts thousands of Gun Trusts every year for clients all over the nation.
In his free time, Dean enjoys flying single engine airplanes, working on his farm, competitive shooting, and hunting.
