Best Accident Lawyer in Massachusetts

Robert I. Feinberg

Accident Injury Lawyer

Robert Feinberg has the highest personal injury verdict in Massachusetts over a five year period, has the highest personal injury settlement in Massachusetts in 2019, and the second highest personal injury settlement in Massachusetts in 2020, all as reported in the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and excluding medical malpractice.

In a landmark victory, a Massachusetts Superior Court jury awarded Robert Feinberg’s client $7.7 million including interest as a result of a boiler explosion, the highest injury verdict in Massachusetts over a five year period, excluding medical malpractice. The victory for the industrial worker was achieved despite years of claims that he was at fault for his accident and thereby entitled to nothing.

As reported in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2019, Mr. Feinberg resolved a construction site accident for $5.35 million dollars. The young construction worker had suffered very serious leg injuries. The defendant, the general contractor, argued that the responsibility for this roofing accident was that of the plaintiff’s employer and not the general contractor. The case successfully resolved after numerous depositions. Mr. Feinberg hired 11 experts, 3 on construction site safety and management, and 8 on damages.

Also, as reported in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2019, Mr. Feinberg along with Colleen Santora tried a pedestrian/motor vehicle accident in which their client suffered a severe calcaneous fracture. The jury returned a verdict of $1.1 million dollars, far in excess of the insurance company’s offer.

Mark Cashman

Accident Injury Lawyer

When I decided to become an attorney, my goal was to be a prosecutor. I had just finished working for the Department of Justice, working alongside federal prosecutors and FBI agents investigating health care fraud and illegal kickbacks.

But soon my path would change. Halfway through law school, my father suffered a delay in diagnosis of cancer. He had a persistent cough for many months before finally getting the test that showed he had terminal lung cancer. Having lived through the frustrations of needless delays with the medical system, my focus had changed. I became driven to fight for victims of medical negligence and serious personal injury.

In the United States, justice for such acts take place in civil courts and are decided by a jury of your peers representing a cross section of your community. The opportunity to fight for fairness and justice for victims of preventable injury and medical negligence became my mission.

I know what it feels like to have one’s trust betrayed by another person who recklessly disregarded another person’s well-being. And I know what it feels like to ask “what if” and be afraid to know the answer.

  1. Legal Expertise: Car accident attorneys have in-depth knowledge of state and local laws related to personal injury and traffic accidents. They can navigate the complex legal system and ensure your case is handled correctly.

  2. Maximizing Compensation: A skilled attorney can help you determine the full extent of your damages, including medical expenses, lost wages, property damage, pain, and suffering. They will work to maximize the compensation you receive.

  3. Investigation: Attorneys have the resources and experience to thoroughly investigate your accident. They can gather evidence, interview witnesses, and work with accident reconstruction experts to establish liability.

  4. Negotiation Skills: Insurance companies often try to minimize payouts. A seasoned car accident attorney can negotiate with insurance adjusters on your behalf to ensure you receive a fair settlement that covers your losses.

  5. Litigation Representation: If negotiations fail, your attorney can file a lawsuit and represent you in court. They will build a strong case, present evidence, and advocate for your rights in front of a judge and jury.

  6. Statute of Limitations: Massachusetts has a statute of limitations that sets a deadline for filing a personal injury lawsuit. An attorney can ensure your case is filed within this time frame to protect your legal rights.

  7. Experience with Various Types of Accidents: Whether it’s a car collision, motorcycle accident, truck accident, or pedestrian accident, the best car accident attorneys have experience with various types of accidents and know how to handle each unique situation.

  8. Understanding of Insurance Policies: Attorneys are well-versed in insurance policies and coverage issues. They can help you decipher complex insurance documents and identify potential sources of compensation.

  9. Legal Advocacy: Your attorney serves as your advocate throughout the legal process, providing guidance, support, and representation so you can focus on your recovery.

  10. Peace of Mind: Dealing with the aftermath of a car accident can be overwhelming. Having a trusted attorney by your side can provide peace of mind, knowing that a skilled professional is handling your case.

  11. Fair Evaluation: An attorney can help you understand the true value of your claim. They can assess whether a settlement offer is fair or if pursuing a lawsuit is in your best interest.

  12. No Fees Unless You Win: Many car accident attorneys work on a contingency fee basis, meaning they only get paid if you win your case. This arrangement reduces financial risk for you and ensures that your attorney is motivated to secure the best possible outcome.

In summary, the need for the best car accident attorney in Massachusetts arises from their legal expertise, ability to protect your rights, and their dedication to securing the compensation you deserve after a car accident. They can guide you through the process, advocate on your behalf, and help you achieve the best possible outcome in your case.
