Best Family Lawyer in Arkansas

Trey Wright, a Little Rock divorce lawyer

Trey Wright

Family Lawyer

I’m Trey Wright, a Little Rock divorce lawyer committed to protecting the best interests of men and women throughout Arkansas in divorce and other family law cases.

My firm is not the biggest firm in Arkansas, and I don’t handle the most cases in Arkansas. This is done by design. As a solo practitioner, I am successful in delivering the personal service and individualized attention you simply cannot receive from a large firm with numerous attorneys.

I limit my caseload in order to provide individualized representation. I focus on achieving solutions that meet the unique needs of my clients. After all, why hire an experienced attorney to handle your case if the nuts and bolts of your case are handled by a less experienced associate?

I opened The Wright Law Firm because I believe in treating clients how I would want to be treated. These issues are serious, and you should not be passed from attorney to attorney.

LESLIE

Family Lawyer

Family law can be a difficult area of practice. Clients call me upset, worried and sometimes, just freaking out. I am who you turn to when there is a problem with your family. I understand how difficult and sensitive these situations can be. Not only am I here to counsel you in hard times, but I’m also there to stand up for you and your family.

There is no better place to live and practice law than Northwest Arkansas. I live in Fayetteville with my husband, Aaron. We love that this corner of our state has everything from beautiful hiking and world-class fishing to top-notch restaurants and museums, not to mention our beloved Arkansas Razorbacks. We simply couldn’t love our little city more.

KRISTEN

Family Lawyer

I practice family and domestic relations law with the highest level of client service, from simple wills and uncontested divorces to complex high-asset and high-conflict cases. I balance my practice by representing children in divorce and custody cases. I am certified as an Attorney Ad Litem and have special training in dependency-neglect and Arkansas DHS cases.

I graduated law school in 2015 from the City University of the New York School of Law and began my legal career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office. In this fast-paced and high-stress environment, I honed my trial court skills while helping crime victims achieve justice in the courtroom.

After moving to Arkansas, I continued my representation of crime victims while working at Legal Aid of Arkansas where I worked with victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, and brought those skills into private practice at Bogart Small & Associates in Fayetteville before joining Leslie Copeland Law.

Josh Eason

Family Lawyer

Josh grew up in Piggott, Arkansas where he learned the value of hard work and a lot about construction. Both of his grandfathers were contractors and his father still owns a small flooring store to this day. Josh grew up on construction sites since he was a small child and was soon put to work on these very job sites for his family’s business. This on-the-job training helped him become a better attorney later in life. This is especially true through his construction law practice.

In addition to working as a flooring installer for his father, Josh was also the maintenance person for his father’s rental property. This taught him many aspects of real estate development and rental property management. Both the practical construction experience and property management experience have helped Josh develop a better relationship with his clients and his ability to communicate with and understand clients needs better regarding real estate and construction law matters.

BONNIE ROBERTSON

Family Lawyer

I am a child of divorced parents, a second wife, a step-mom, and a mom. Those roles influence and enhance my family law representation every single day. I also know how it feels to be a client, having watched my husband go through a custody battle for his daughter when she was very young. I will never forget that feeling of vulnerability, hope, and dependence on the attorney to keep us informed and to fight for what was important to us. Now, years later, as my stepdaughter has developed into a wonderful, well-adjusted adult, I am grateful for the way we all ultimately raised her to love every person in her family, not just “our side.”

My parents were a role model for that version of a split family. Although they were often separated and then divorced during my childhood, they never put us in the middle of their conflicts. Through my childhood, they attended and sat together at our basketball games, pageants, awards ceremonies; and through my dad’s passing in 2018, they were both present at the Thanksgiving table and to at Christmas; and they never spoke ill of each other in front of us.

Immediate Legal
Advice

Finding the “best” family lawyer in Arkansas can be subjective and dependent on individual needs and preferences. While I cannot provide specific recommendations, here are some general tips to help you find a reputable family lawyer in Arkansas:

  1. Referrals: Seek recommendations from friends, family members, or colleagues who have had positive experiences with family lawyers in Arkansas. Their firsthand referrals can be valuable in identifying reliable and skilled practitioners.

  2. Online Directories: Utilize online directories, such as the Arkansas Bar Association’s website or other legal directories, to search for family lawyers in Arkansas. These directories often provide information about lawyers’ credentials, practice areas, and contact details.

  3. Bar Association Resources: Visit the Arkansas Bar Association’s to access their lawyer referral service or directory. These resources can help you find qualified family lawyers who are members of the bar association.

  4. Reviews and Testimonials: Read client reviews and testimonials on various platforms, including Google reviews, legal review websites, or lawyer-specific websites. While individual experiences may vary, reviews can provide insights into lawyers’ reputations and the quality of their services.

  5. Consultations: Schedule initial consultations with potential family lawyers to discuss your case and assess their suitability. During these meetings, ask questions about their experience, track record, approach to family law, and how they can assist you.

  6. Specialization and Expertise: Look for family lawyers who specialize in family law and have experience handling cases similar to yours. Verify their credentials, certifications, and memberships in professional associations related to family law.

  7. Fee Structure and Communication: Inquire about the lawyer’s fee structure, including billing methods and rates, to ensure they align with your budget. Additionally, assess their communication style and responsiveness, as effective communication is crucial for a productive attorney-client relationship.

Remember to consider factors such as experience, specialization, reputation, communication skills, availability, and affordability when choosing a family lawyer in Arkansas. It’s important to find a lawyer who not only possesses the necessary legal skills but also understands your unique circumstances and can provide the support and guidance you need for your family law matter.
