After graduating from law school, Kevin moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he practiced law in the area of insurance defense litigation including insurance coverage, medical malpractice, and liability litigation. In 2003, Kevin moved to Arizona to continue his work in insurance defense litigation.

Shawnna was born and raised in Idaho, where she learned the importance of hard work. She was first exposed to the opportunities and diversity Arizona has to offer while attending Arizona State University, graduating from the Barrett Honors College and earning a B.S. in Marketing. After graduation, she attended Seattle University School of Law. Shawnna honed her own research skills in law school, and she taught them to others while working at the law library and for Westlaw. She interned at Koenig and Associates.
Shawnna began her professional legal career in 2006, moving to Montana to help the local business community as an associate at Bjornson Law Offices. As her career developed, she had an opportunity to move to Phoenix in 2007.

Jonathan Roeder, Co-Founder of The Valley Law Group, is an Arizona native who has dedicated his life and career to the service of others. Jonathan attended Pepperdine University, where he majored in Political Science. During his tenure at Pepperdine University, his passion for helping others grew after securing a clinical position with a residential treatment center for juveniles with substance issues and addictions. Post-graduation, Jonathan returned to Arizona and served as a residential manager for homes for the mentally and physically disabled.
