ADAM STOTTS

Divorce Lawyers

A native of central Kentucky with an entrepreneurial spirit, Adam Stotts began his solo practice in 2010 with a singular focus on all matters of family law.  He has since litigated over 1750 cases, including divorce, custody & timeshare, adoption, child support, grandparents’ rights, domestic violence, property division, child dependency, child neglect & abuse, and more.

Most family law matters are extremely personal and emotionally charged, and the parties involved can easily become overwhelmed with the process and feel frustrated or helpless. Adam, therefore, prioritizes the importance of empowering clients from the beginning with a clear understanding of their case, applicable laws, and a straightforward assessment of the possible and/or likely outcomes of the various legal issues involved — including the good, the bad, and the ugly. Client empowerment also requires timely responsiveness to all client communications and questions, a cornerstone of Adam’s practice.

Another core principle of Adam’s practice is efficiency. Too often parties’ cases linger for far longer than necessary.  Whether it is a lack of initiative or diligence by their attorneys, Adam finds needless delay unacceptable. To Adam, efficiency requires reaching the best possible result for the client with as little expenditure of both time and money needed to reach that result.

John Schmidt

Divorce Lawyers

I have a personal devotion to helping struggling families. The happiness and welfare of clients are extremely important to me, which is why I insist that the client take an active role in working with me in a collaborative manner on their case. I ask clients to come into the office to work on their cases so we can work together and stay on the same page every step of the way.

I have had to hire attorneys and I know what it is like to be the client. I work hard to find solutions for my clients. You know the old expression that “time is money”? It is true when it comes to an attorney working on a case, so I work hard to solve your problem(s). I also try hard to make sure you have a voice with the court and that the judge knows what is important to you. I discuss this on my weekly segment on Wave3 television, Family Law Fridays with Attorney John Schmidt.

I grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, and put myself through college (I studied painting and sculpture, art history, and psychology) and graduate school (MBA / JD) at the University of Kentucky.

Later, I completed the Six Six Sigma Green and Lean programs at Villanova University and worked as a special education teacher, prosecutor, turn-around executive and consultant before going into private practice.

LinkedIn

I believe in the quotation from Albert Pine: “What you do for yourself dies with you, but what you do for others lives on and is immortal.” I hope clients will show up and tell stories about our time together and ay that I made a difference for the better in their lives at a time when they were dealing with an important issue.
