Yazan “Yaz” Rantisi is the founding attorney of The Louisiana Family Law Firm. He was born and raised in the greater New Orleans area and earned a Political Science degree from LSU. He then followed in his father’s footsteps and became a successful car salesman in Baton Rouge. During this time, Yazan discovered his passion for helping others and began dreaming of transitioning into a career as a lawyer. By chance, Southern University Law Center Chancellor John Pierre and Yazan went on a test drive. Chancellor Pierre quickly convinced Yazan to apply to law school and he was soon accepted into the Southern University Law Center’s evening division. The road was not easy, but with the support of his friends, family, and co-workers, Yazan was able to support himself through law school by working during the day and attending classes at night.
At the end of 2016, Yazan left the dealership and began preparing for his career as a lawyer. He quickly realized he had a passion for family law, and earned a skill set that lends itself to finding solutions in highly contested divorce and child custody disputes. He applied this passion and skills by volunteering as a CASA advocate, where he assisted children in foster care. Quickly he earned a reputation within the organization and courtroom as someone who could help find solutions among even the most adversarial parties. Yazan has been recognized multiple times by Capital Area CASA for his work and has been published in the Baton Rouge Advocate as a result.
Prior to graduating, Yazan spent 2018 working as a law clerk within Southeast Louisiana Legal Services’ Family Law Unit. This opportunity allowed him to gain amazing experience, as Yazan worked on a large number of cases involving divorce, child custody, and domestic violence. This gave Yazan both the knowledge and experience to practice family law after passing the Louisiana Bar Exam.
Louis J. Cosenza

Louis J. Cosenza is a Family Law Specialist who is certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization. He is one of eleven family law specialists with offices in Baton Rouge and the only board-certified specialist with an office in Ascension Parish. In his 43 years as a lawyer, Mr. Cosenza has had experience as a skilled litigator in diverse areas including tort law, medical malpractice, lawyer disciplinary proceedings, criminal defense and prosecution. He has practiced in state and federal district and appellate courts and before military Courts Martial.
A native of New Orleans, Louis evacuated after Hurricane Katrina and decided to settle in Gonzales, Louisiana. He established a new practice devoted exclusively to family law cases with an emphasis on divorce and the division of marital property, including high net value divorces.
Louis is married with four children and five grandchildren. He is an avid baseball fan, whose favorite likes are good food, classical music and jazz, the New Orleans Saints and the New York Yankees. Someday he hopes to get back on the golf course where he spent many hours as a young attorney.

Robin Cazayoux

Robin was raised in Livonia, Louisiana, Pointe Coupee Parish. She received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University in Human Resource Education, with a concentration in Leadership and Workforce Development. Robin worked for Prater Bailey & Associates, LLC during undergrad and continued working as a paralegal afterwards. She went on to attend the Southern University Law Center and graduated Magna Cum Laude in May of 2021. Robin passed the July 2021 Louisiana State Bar Exam and was sworn into practice in October of 2021.
