Barry Klopfer earned his B.A. degree in anthropology from Antioch College in 1997, and his J.D. degree from City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law in 2003. While in law school, Mr. Klopfer clerked for the Hon. Bonnie Wittner, Supreme Court (New York County), participated in CUNY’s highly ranked Criminal Defenders clinic, and having received the Bruce Wright Fellowship for Police Brutality, Mr. Klopfer interned for Eliot Spitzer, then New York State Attorney General, in his administration’s Civil Rights Bureau.
For several years Mr. Klopfer worked as a New Mexico prosecutor and as a public defender. And afterwards Mr. Klopfer worked with the Navajo Nation Department of Justice, performing primarily labor and employment law.
In 2011 Mr. Klopfer started his law practice. Mr. Klopfer believed that in starting his own practice, he can be more effective in helping ordinary people deal with a variety of legal issues.

In 1993, I graduated from New Mexico Highlands University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. After that, I worked hard through law school and earned a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the University of New Mexico in 1999.
I took a rewarding but tough opportunity after law school to serve our country. In 2003, I completed the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General basic course. My time in the New Mexico Army National Guard was spent as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) Officer. In this capacity, I worked across multiple issues that required a sharp legal mind while serving my commander, soldiers, airmen, and team well.
I have also served as a New Mexico State Prosecutor, and eventually, a criminal defense lawyer advocating on behalf of the accused. As a former prosecutor, I gained unique insight as to the strategies and tactics that attorneys use against parties facing charges.

Thomas Matthew Clark was born in 1967 and was raised in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. He attended and graduated from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri in 1989, with a B.A. in Political Science. Mr. Clark attended the University of Arkansas School of Law and graduated with a J.D. in 1993.
