DAVID A. CINCOTTA

Criminal Lawyer

My goal is to provide you with the same personal and dedicated attention that I would want to receive if I needed legal representation. I tell my clients what they need to hear because my clients trust that I will be honest with them. Too many attorneys worry about whether their clients are going to like the advice or the news the attorney has to share. I don’t believe that is an effective way to practice law. I know the stakes are high, I know what you have hired me to do, and I know what you expect. I also enjoy helping my clients (regardless of the type of legal matter). My hope is that I can make your life better by providing you quality legal representation.

I’m an Oklahoman through and through. I completed my undergraduate studies from Oklahoma State University in 2002, and I began law school, at Oklahoma City University School of Law, in 2003. While attending law school, I worked as a Deputy Court Clerk at the Oklahoma County Courthouse, and I gained valuable insight and experience working for a District Judge. In 2007, I graduated law school in the top 10% of my class.

Following law school, I was hired as an Assistant District Attorney in Oklahoma County. In that role, I was assigned to a variety of different types of cases. In 2014, I became the General Counsel for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. In that role, I was responsible for all legal matters of DOC. In 2019, I left DOC and started my own legal practice.
