Lisa grew up in Fullerton, Nebraska, and graduated with distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. She received her J.D. with high honors from the Florida State University College of Law in 1995, where she was an associate editor of the Florida State University Law Review and a member of Order of the Coif. After graduation, she practiced for two years at a large firm in Tallahassee, Florida, where her practice areas included insurance regulatory law and commercial real estate transactions. Lisa joined Seiler & Parker in 2000 and in the last 21 years has focused her practice on Family Law and Personal Injury.
In 1997, Lisa joined the faculty of the University of Idaho College of Law, where she taught legal writing and research. She returned to Nebraska in 2000 and joined the firm. Lisa’s practice areas include personal injury law, insurance defense, and civil litigation. She served on the Federal Practice Committee of the U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska from 2004 to 2006. From 2008 to 2010 she served on the Supreme Court Advisory Committee to the Nebraska State Bar Association.

He was also the president of Creighton’s International Moot Court Board and student president of the National ABA Moot Court Board.
Before law school, Mike earned his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Mike is a licensed attorney in Nebraska and has practiced law for 18 years. James is licensed to practice law in the State of Nebraska both at the State and Federal Levels and has argued numerous cases before the Nebraska Supreme Court. From 2001 to 2004, James was also the Chase County, Nebraska, Attorney, where he prosecuted criminal offenses and represented Chase County in numerous civil matters, including the issue of whether to grant a special use permit to a significant hog confinement facility.

Bocott, PC LLO, was formed in order to bring a more focused and specialized approach to a legal practice designed to: represent seriously injured people; represent injured workers; represent those burdened with overwhelming debt; and, represent people in various other civil legal disputes such as divorce, custody, breach of contract matters, and estate litigation.
