Cody Hudson

Civil Lawyer

Cody Hudson is the senior paralegal with the DuMond Law Firm. He was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona where he graduated with honors from Mountain View High School. As a high school student, Mr. Hudson was a member of the Model United Nations team where he earned multiple Best Diplomat awards as he learned the importance of levying the needs of each party to find a common ground and forge a fair and equitable solution out of conflict. This is a tool set he uses to this day as he works for the clients of this firm. Though he had grown up working small odd jobs as a boy, he acquired his first official job as a courtesy clerk at Fry’s Marketplace where he expanded on his team building knowledge and learned to expeditiously serve those who entrusted him with a job.

Shortly after graduating high school, Mr. Hudson was blessed with an opportunity to work in the construction industry in Colorado, an endeavor that forced him to truly recognize what hard work is. Initially working as a supply specialist for a construction company, Mr. Hudson eventually found a calling as an interior painter with Xtreme Painting, LLC. It was at that job that Cody emboldened his value for comradery and its ability to foster an atmosphere that makes clients feel comfortable and satisfied. While working for Xtreme Painting, Cody proudly volunteered for the first three Hammers and Angels projects wherein multiple tradesmen worked day in and day out for one week to completely renovate the homes of those in dire need of home-improvement. In this work, Cody found

that, with the help of others, we can always work to rebuild ourselves and renew our standing in this world, regardless of our circumstances. To that end, Cody is proud to work with a company like the DuMond Law Firm, where working to help our clients stand on their own in the face of adversity is paramount.

Mr. Hudson found his way into the world of law by way of association and with the DuMond Law Firm team he quickly found a passion for liberty, fairness, and equality under the guidance of the law. Though Cody has been a paralegal with DuMond Law Firm for many years now, he is currently attending Phoenix College to put his practical knowledge to the test in pursuit of his associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies. He is eager to supplement the already-skilled team at this firm with his newfound knowledge and skills, and further to serve the clients of this firm to the best of his ability as they navigate the legal system. Mr. Hudson is honored and grateful to have the pleasure of working for and with such a magnanimous and professional legal team!

Experienced in both felony and misdemeanor cases, he is dedicated to providing his clients with not only the best possible representation, but also the information required to make sense of the oftentimes confusing criminal justice system.

During law school, William worked as an intern at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. He is able to use this experience as a tool in negotiating a dismissal, reduction in charges, and at trial.

Prior to joining the Law Offices of David A. Black, William worked for private law firms. This gave him an understanding of how the legal system works, and the experience of using that knowledge to his clients’ advantage.

At the Law Offices of David A. Black, William handles all types of criminal matters – from misdemeanors to serious felony charges. He is an experienced trial attorney who is willing and able to fight for the best possible outcome for his clients.
