Chris Breault
Accident Lawyer
Attorney Chris Breault was born and raised off Buena Vista Road on the southside of Columbus, Georgia. “It takes a village to raise a child”—and it was no different with Chris. He was raised by his mother—a single mother with three children by age 22—and also his maternal grandparents. His grandmother worked at K-Mart on Macon Road in Columbus for 34 years and his grandfather was a Federal Firefighter on base at Fort Benning.
Chris never went to any private school of any sort. He was educated in the Muscogee County public school system, starting at Georgetown Elementary and ending at Jordan High School where he dropped out in the 10th grade. Chris went to work immediately after dropping out of high school. For years he worked as a laborer for a commercial concrete construction company. Eventually, he went back to school after getting his G.E.D.—taking night classes at Chattahoochee Valley Community College after working during the day. After a year of taking night classes after work, Chris earned enough credits to transfer to Columbus State University. While at CSU, Chris earned near-perfect grades and applied to the University of Georgia. UGA accepted Chris and awarded him a merit-based scholarship. Chris self-funded his entire education through PELL Grant, gainful employment, scholarships and student loans. He received no monies whatsoever from family, friends or any other source except those mentioned above.
During his time at UGA, Chris excelled academically on the way to earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory. After completing his undergraduate education, Chris applied to the PhD program in Philosophy at the University of Georgia. Because of his academic track-record—including making perfect grades in graduate-level Philosophy classes as an undergrad—the PhD program accepted Chris and awarded him full funding, including free tuition and living expenses for five years. After much thought and consideration, Chris decided that his “heart” was in a life of action and advocacy, so he applied to the top-ranked University of Georgia School of Law. Within 48 hours of submitting his application, Georgia Law extended Chris an offer of admission.
