Robert I. Feinberg
Accident Injury Lawyer
Robert Feinberg has the highest personal injury verdict in Massachusetts over a five year period, has the highest personal injury settlement in Massachusetts in 2019, and the second highest personal injury settlement in Massachusetts in 2020, all as reported in the Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and excluding medical malpractice.
In a landmark victory, a Massachusetts Superior Court jury awarded Robert Feinberg’s client $7.7 million including interest as a result of a boiler explosion, the highest injury verdict in Massachusetts over a five year period, excluding medical malpractice. The victory for the industrial worker was achieved despite years of claims that he was at fault for his accident and thereby entitled to nothing.
As reported in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2019, Mr. Feinberg resolved a construction site accident for $5.35 million dollars. The young construction worker had suffered very serious leg injuries. The defendant, the general contractor, argued that the responsibility for this roofing accident was that of the plaintiff’s employer and not the general contractor. The case successfully resolved after numerous depositions. Mr. Feinberg hired 11 experts, 3 on construction site safety and management, and 8 on damages.
Also, as reported in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2019, Mr. Feinberg along with Colleen Santora tried a pedestrian/motor vehicle accident in which their client suffered a severe calcaneous fracture. The jury returned a verdict of $1.1 million dollars, far in excess of the insurance company’s offer.

Mark Cashman
Accident Injury Lawyer
When I decided to become an attorney, my goal was to be a prosecutor. I had just finished working for the Department of Justice, working alongside federal prosecutors and FBI agents investigating health care fraud and illegal kickbacks.
But soon my path would change. Halfway through law school, my father suffered a delay in diagnosis of cancer. He had a persistent cough for many months before finally getting the test that showed he had terminal lung cancer. Having lived through the frustrations of needless delays with the medical system, my focus had changed. I became driven to fight for victims of medical negligence and serious personal injury.
In the United States, justice for such acts take place in civil courts and are decided by a jury of your peers representing a cross section of your community. The opportunity to fight for fairness and justice for victims of preventable injury and medical negligence became my mission.
I know what it feels like to have one’s trust betrayed by another person who recklessly disregarded another person’s well-being. And I know what it feels like to ask “what if” and be afraid to know the answer.
